Al is the Founder and Clinical Director of the Franconia Family Therapy Center (FFTC). As a clinical member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, he has been providing competent and caring individual, marital and family psychotherapy for many years. After completing his graduate work at the University of Illinois, he returned to Northern Virginia to work at Fairfax County's Mt. Vernon Community Mental Health Center, Springfield Outpatient Unit, initially as a psychotherapist before becoming the Coordinator for Adult Services. He left the public sector and founded Franconia Family Therapy Center in 1988.
